COME AND MEET US AT LUNCH!, EXCEL LONDON, 24-25 SEPTEMBER

JC Dudley are pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at lunch! 2025 at Excel in London on 24th and 25th September, supporting our partners Agrucapers.

We're looking to connect with potential buyers for the Agrucapers range of Delicias Med bowls, a selection of healthy Mediterranean dishes. With eco-friendly packaging, the bowls are easy to use, can be eaten on-the-go, or heated up and used as part of a larger meal. These dishes are rich in vitamins A, C, B6 and B1, high in fibre and protein. They are gluten free, vegan and created using extra virgin olive oil.

​Now that we are in receipt of our BRCGS certificate and audit report, J C Dudley are pleased to announce that we have again achieved Grade AA, the highest grade that agents and brokers can attain, and a grade that we have achieved for several years.  This outcome verifies that our systems and procedures continue to meet the requirements of the BRC Global Standard for Agents & Brokers, thereby providing reassurance for our customers that our products are safe, comply with the relevant specification for quality, are authentic and meet applicable laws and regulations.

HOME OF DRINK INNOVATION

JCDudley is pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at Imbibe Live at Olympia London on July 1st and 2nd, 2024, alongside our valued partners Aseptic Peruvian Fruit.

During the event, we will be seeking to connect with potential wholesalers and buyers of our Pacific Fruit range of chilled, natural 1 kg purees. Our products are designed for distribution to hotels, restaurants, bars and cafés and we're excited to showcase our offerings at Imbibe Live!

MOVING IN A POSITIVE DIRECTION

We have recently employed a Sustainability Technical Assistant in a new role for the company. 

JC Dudley is starting the journey and taking ownership of its carbon emissions footprint and ethical moral compass to mitigate the company's impact on the Earth.

A challenging endeavour but one which will bear plentiful fruit (no pun intended) for the company’s status, security and success in the industry whilst also showing our progressive thinking/actions.

THE BERRY BEST FOR YOUR RECIPES

We are also now stocking a range of chilled purées in 1 kg pouches from Pacific Fruit in Peru. These purées are packed at origin and are aimed at those customers looking for unsweetened purées of the highest quality and without additives.

​The range comprises Blueberry, Ginger, Goldenberry, Mango, Passionfruit, Pineapple, Raspberry, Strawberry and Turmeric. Our fruit purées don't have to just be used in cocktails or smoothies.

​The quality of our versatile purées mean they can be used in a variety of sweet and savoury dishes. Here are some recipe ideas to get you started:

BAKED GOODS:
Add fruit purée to your favourite scone or muffin recipe for added moisture and flavour. Use can even use fruit purée as a substitute for some of the oil or butter in cake recipes.

DESSERTS:
Use fruit purée as a base for homemade ice cream or mix it with heavy cream and sugar. Fill pre-made tart crusts with fruit purée and top with whipped cream or meringue. Mix fruit purée with sugar, flour and oats to create a delicious topping for fruit crisps or crumbles.

SAVOURY DISHES:
Use fruit purée as a base for sauces to serve with grilled meats, poultry or seafood. Mix fruit purée with olive oil, vinegar and herbs to create a flavourful marinade for chicken or pork. ANCHOVY FILLETS IN SUNFLOWER OIL

Anchovy fillets in oil are a staple ingredient in any kitchen. Whether they are used to give saltiness or a fishy flavour to sauces or in a Caesar Salad dressing or simply as a pizza topping, anchovy fillets are a “go to” ingredient for most chefs, adding a depth of flavour and umami.

JC Dudley have recently added Anchovy fillets in sunflower oil in 600g easy open tins to their foodservice offering. Here are some popular ways to use anchovy fillets:

PASTA SAUCES:
Anchovies are a classic ingredient in Italian pasta sauces, particularly carbonara, Bolognese and pesto.

DIPS & SPREADS:
Mix anchovy fillets with cream cheese, mayonnaise or sour cream for a tasty dip. 
Use anchovy fillets as a spread on sandwiches such as a crostini or a panini.

GRILLED MEATS:
Add anchovy fillets to marinades or rubs for grilled meats like steak, chicken or salmon.


SALADS & VEGTABLES:
Add anchovy fillets to green salads, caprese salads or grain salads for a salty kick. Fill bell peppers, zucchini or eggplant with a mixture of rice, herbs and anchovy fillets for a savoury side dish.

PIZZA:
Anchovies are a common topping on Neapolitan-style pizzas, especially when paired with other salty ingredients like olives and capers.

Remember to use anchovy fillets in moderation, as their strong flavour can overpower other ingredients. Start with a small amount and adjust to taste.
