As sustainability gains prominence in the food and drinks industry, JC Dudley recognises its corporate social responsibilities. Collaborating closely with suppliers, we strive to enhance sustainability and ethical compliance within our supply chains.

JC Dudley is committed to assessing and improving practices within our own operations and those of our suppliers. In 2024, we at JC Dudley started thinking seriously about how we could do more for our customers, suppliers and the planet, and guided by this we have released our first Sustainability report.  We aim to provide more detail on how we are measuring and reporting sustainability data, as well as the targets we are setting for the future, and the positive steps we are taking.

To guarantee data transparency and accuracy we have joined the SME Climate Hub, recognised by the UK Government and the UN Climate Change High Level Champion’s Race to Zero by 2050 campaign.

TAKING ACTION

As a member of Sedex, the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange, JC Dudley utilises its secure web-based platform to store and share information on key pillars: health and safety, labour standards, business integrity and the environment.

Furthermore, JC Dudley advocates for all its suppliers to join Sedex, promoting the continuous improvement of ethical practices throughout their supply chains.

GIVING A LITTLE BACK

​Over the years, we've initiated several community projects in collaboration with our valued suppliers to give back to their communities.

JC Dudley was proud to support Dios es Nuestra Fortaleza/Escuela Rural Mixta Leonidas Matamoros, a school in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, Central America, by making a charitable donation. The funds contributed to the purchase of new desks and chairs for the school, facilitated through one of our suppliers from whom we sourced Banana puree.

Additionally, we extended our support to the workers at our lime juice factory in Honduras by donating "ecofiltro" water filters to each of their families. This initiative provided them with affordable, safe and clean drinking water on a daily basis.
