The People Who Make JC Dudley - Our TeamMichael Dudley - Managing Director Twenty six years with the company and still counting. Although it sounds like a jail sentence, I still look forward to coming to work every day as the elder statesman and taking the blame for everything…

Mark Dudley - Sales Director
29 years in the business as both man and boy. Hobbies include dog walking, hiding from the four women (one of which is four legged) at home, eating, drinking and watching (not playing anymore) rugby. One of my responsibilities is travelling the globe pretending to work, discovering new ingredients and then trying bravely to sell them. mark@jcdudley.co.uk |
Richard Rowlett - Director
I joined the old enemy in 2002 having escaped the clutches of being a corporate employee, started up the IQF department as well as offering old favourites for the jam/pickle trade, I have now learnt more delights in the food and drink industry and treat my customers to a multitude of delicious fayre to manufacture into wonderful products! Loves are my family, sport (in particular cricket, rugby, football, golf), coaching kids cricket and football, cooking for friends, the odd glass of wine or two, beer, walking the dog! Oh and my job of course! Life actually is not that bad is it?

Andrea Allen - Finance Director
I have been holding the purse-strings here for the last 11 years and, needless to say, I have gained a few grey hairs. Therapy includes frequent trips to the hills and valleys of central France where I love to sample the culinary delights on offer, then back to the gym to work it all off!

Helena Madgwick - Office Manager
The linchpin – I check the office calendar, I know how to use the photocopier and am occasionally seen wearing the phone headset in my car going home…

Lynn Wright - Technical Manager
I like to think I live up to my name and am always ‘wright’. Hobbies are dancing, cricket and going for long rambles enjoying our countryside. As the Technical Manager, my responsibilities mean travelling abroad auditing our suppliers and there is always a scramble between Michael, Mark and Richard as to who gets to accompany me. I think it’s because they find the audits so interesting but they’re really scrambling to find out who got the short straw!

David Heslop - Sales Admin and Supply Chain
Not so much David Heslop as David Brent. Multiple personalities which keeps everyone entertained. 40 something employed slacker. Shares a house with hundreds of Star Wars, Lara Croft and Middle Earth figures and dinosaurs (oh no, that one’s the office). I go walking in the Lakes a lot and usually get lost, which is what people usually tell me to do.

Max Dudley - Sales & Social Media Co-ordinator
The 3rd generation Dudley and newest member of the team! I am here to support the sales team so that we can enhance our sales performance, collaborate with our finance team to produce meaningful reporting as well as develop the company’s Social Media strategy. This all comes second to distracting the office at any opportunity I get! I have just returned from a long trip through Africa where I spent some time learning some ins & outs of the farming and processing part of our industry. Looking forward to introducing myself to you all and hopefully inspiring the NEXT generation of Dudley’s to keep it in the family.

Oli Parkes - Accounts
The apprentice Lord Sugar always wanted. The resident 3rd Dan black belt karate-ka in the group. Random generator of fun facts. Q: Did you know that the UK has the highest frequency of tornadoes of any country in the world including the USA? If you didn’t know that you do now…… Interests include cars (you can hear mine waking the neighbours), football (Arsenal fan), snooker and films (Jurassic Park, Fast and Furious).

Lyndsey McAllister - Accounts
I have worked in the accounts department firstly as holiday cover for a number of years and then I was lucky enough to be asked to work on a more permanent basis. I can usually be found in the office on a Monday and a Friday, with my head down concentrating, working on some kind of return or other. I thoroughly enjoy an invigorating lunchtime walk/coffee stop with Andrea on those days. Although I don’t have a lot of spare time, I do enjoy relaxing with my animals, consisting of bantams, cats and a new fish, oh and my other half (the human kind).
