Lynn Wright - Technical Manager

Lynn Wright joined us at the beginning of January as our Technical Manager. It is the first time that we have had an in-house technical department and we, our suppliers and customers will certainly see the benefits. Her responsibilities are wide-ranging as they cover all technical and quality aspects of the business. As a trained BRC auditor and with previous experience within the fruit juice industry Lynn aims to further improve our systems and procedures, which can only better the working relationship with our suppliers and the service to our customers.

Start of a new era!

We are proud to announce that our Managing Director - Michael Dudley - has been voted onto the committee of the British Fruit Juice Association as of June 2009. This serves as recognition of his reputation in the Food and Drinks industry and continues to raise the profile of JC Dudley amongst our customers, suppliers and competitors.

On a lighter note, our new colleague Mihaela Andrei has been with the Company for over a year now. Doesn't time fly!

The End of An Era

After 26 successful years at the helm, Alan Dudley retires as Managing Director of the Company on 17th July 2009 to be replaced by his nephew, Michael Dudley, who takes over the role with relish. We all wish "Uncle Alan" well for the future and thank him for his leadership, energy and constant support to all his colleagues over that period.

As well as this, we thank Alan's wife Sue for her time spent as Company Secretary and for keeping Alan on the straight and narrow over the years!

Now would also be a good time to thank Peter Dudley, Alan's elder brother and one of the two original founders of the Company back in 1983, who also steps down as Chairman of the Company at this time.

We hope that they can both look back at their careers with feelings of pleasure and pride at what they've achieved. Our heartfelt thanks go out to both of them.
